6 month photos!

Wow - Kaylee will be 6 months old on Thursday. My little baby is growing up too fast!!!

This past Saturday we took her for her first professional portraits - here are a few of the best shots. It was so hard to decide which to get printed...the photographer took nearly 150! Kaylee was an angel the whole time - even while we sat there for 30 minutes narrowing down our choices. She stayed up about an hour past her usual nap time and fell asleep about 8 minutes from home...luckily she transitioned to her crib just fine and slept great (we were afraid of a power nap situation!!).

We brought Kaylee's giraffe (Smacky) as a potential prop and almost forgot to use him. I put him in her lap and she sort of hugged him - so cute! I'm glad we did bring him, as that's one of our favorite pictures from the session.

They wanted to use the black with her red dress, but we vetoed the red and black right off the bat (Go Jackets!!!), and I am so glad because I love the way the green plaid dress shots turned out with the black background.

Six months old already. Time is going very fast. She'll be bringing home boyfriends and asking for the car keys before you know it!

Your new photos are adorable. Kaylee must have been really good and relaxed for you to have 150 of them to choose from. I love the bottum left photo. Very cute.

Those are really great pictures! So cute. She's really growing up fast, isn't she? I like the giraffe picture too, and the gray background looks really cute with the red dress...they're all good! Where did you take her to get them done?

We went to Portrait Innovations - they were awesome, took nearly 150 photos in about 20 minutes. I think it took longer to narrow down our selections than it did to take them! Prices were pretty reasonable, too, compared to a lot of photo places. Could see if there's one near you - they have locations in most states. www.portraitinnovations.com

Also - Kaylee basically woke up from a nap and ate right away, then we whisked her to the studio. Did time it perfect for her nap that day. So she was quite refreshed and happy at the session.
