Visit with Great Great Aunt Ollie

Kaylee and I picked up my grandparents (Memaw & PawPaw) this morning and drove to my Great Aunt Ollie's house. I don't think we've seen her since before Kaylee was born! So here are a few photos of Kaylee and her Great Great Aunt Ollie. Kaylee's wearing the outfit that Memaw made for her - Ollie made the same one for her granddaughers, Maggie (21 months) and Gracie Kay (17 months).

Here's our little bookworm! We start most mornings with story time - quite often before breakfast! - and read to her (and she "reads" on her own) all throughout the day. She also loves playing in diaper boxes; I guess she's glad we buy in bulk. :)

Wearing her matching hat and swimsuit for the first time together! Completely coincidental, as she got the hat as a gift, and I bought the swimsuit not thinking about the hat. Super cute combo, though!

July 4

July 3 - 3rd day of red, white & blue attire!


July 4 we went to my parents' house for the day. Kaylee spent the morning swimming with Grampa and Gramma (and us), and a bunch more family showed up around lunchtime. First picture below looks like Kaylee's thinking, "what do I do with these?" ...then..."Aaahaha! Wave the flags!!" :-) She was not happy when we took the flags and headband away! (I think in the last of these photos she was watching her shadow wave the flags.)

Kaylee's great-grandfather's (PawPaw) 84th birthday was July 6, so we had a celebration for him on the 4th.
